I have used and owned many tablets. I love my Kindle. I have built up a large collection of content that I enjoy reading.
When I have my Kindle, it is as if I am carrying thousands of books in my purse. The iPad is also a great device, but really Apple still no flash support?
Finally the ASUS Transformer Prime solves this problem!
Perhaps the biggest disadvantage I have seen with every tablet PC on the market is that they do not have a keyboard. Getting used to tapping along on the screen with my fingers can be fun for a while, but what about when I want to speed type on a physical keyboard.
That problem has finally been addressed by the good folks at ASUS with their newly released ASUS Transformer Prime Tablet.

A tablet with a Keyboard!
Enter ASUS Transformer Prime. The first Tablet I have used that included the basic, but much sought after feature. An external keyboard.
While it does cost a little extra I highly recommend you buy this keyboard as well when you purchase your Asus Transformer Prime. Best of all you can get a bundle with it included for a special price.
I have been using ASUS products throughout my life. I currently have a custom built PC that has a motherboard several years old and it is still as fast and efficient at powering all the bells and whistles I can throw at it. ASUS products last forever.
When I first powered on this new toy, the first thing I noticed was that this ASUS product was no different in terms of speed. The Asus Transformer Prime contains NVIDA’s incredible Tegra 3 Quad core processor. I knew that Nvidia made great products.
However having used many other tablets before and my iPhone on a regular basic I was blown away by the speed that this machine possesses. I opted for the Amethyst Gray because I tend to like the darker style of idevices and the like, but the Champagne colored ASUS Transformer Prime looks great too.
I think the ASUS Transfomer Prime has a look and feel much higher in quality then the iPad or other devices I have used. Before I go on praising the ASUS Transformer Prime Tablet however I do need to address some minor issues I had with this tablet. The first issue was not a deal breaker for me, but did become a nuisance I would rather not deal with.
So close to perfection
The rear speaker placement is probably the worst issue I had with the ASUS Transformer Prime. It can get easily covered up when you set it down or even by your hands while using the tablet. Thankfully it is pretty loud so even if it gets covered a bit. You can still hear that speaker very well. Because of its volume this was just an annoyance to me but your mileage may vary.
The other minor complaint I had with the ASUS Transformer Prime which was easily rectified by getting myself a wonderful gel case was the fact that the ASUS Transformer Prime tablet is thin and was slightly heavier than other devices. So for me at times it was kinda difficult to hold. My iPhone has a big bulky battery pack case. So I am used to thicker devices. Again while I encountered minor issues with the device. I still think the ASUS Transformer Prime is the best tablet on the market right now.

Asus Transformer Prime – Multipurpose or gaming tablet your choice!
I am so happy about this tablet. From the professional look to the speed and usability. Tons of apps already pre-loaded. It made me feel like it was the day I got my first iPhone again. With its powerful processor not only is the ASUS Transformer Prime a multipurpose tablet, but a gaming tablet to boot.
I experienced no stutters or slow down on any of the games I played on my ASUS Transformer Prime. I have many devices an iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4S, even an iPad 2 and none of them have Flash support! If this was the only thing that the ASUS Transformer Prime did right it would still justify my purchase.
Finally a device with Flash support!
I have waited forever to get Flash on an iDevice and a tablet that supports it is finally here with the ASUS Transformer Prime. Not only that but it also comes at a very reasonable price tag. I have abused the fact that I have Flash on my ASUS tablet. Watching tons of videos and playing every Flash game I can find online. With its smart inclusion of Flash support the ASUS Transformer Prime is certainly a revolutionary device.
Several updates have come out since I got my ASUS Transformer Prime Tablet and the download times were very fast. This is a very good sign as it shows that this tablet is already being actively supported. I always expect nothing less than perfection from ASUS and they have come very close with the ASUS Transformer Prime tablet.

Pros and Cons of the ASUS Transformer Prime
Pros – Very fast tablet due to it’s incredible Tegra 3 Processor. Gorgeous Design and feel. Flash Support. (Optional but recommended) external keyboard. Heavily supported with frequent updates.
Cons – Not the most thought out speaker placement. Thin but slightly heavier than other tablets.
Tablet Price
The price of the ASUS Transformer Prime depends on where you buy it but Amazon has an excellent price right now!
